2026-04-19 snapshot: rank #18 of 2,000+. Post-outage correction: as of 2026-04-20 we are rank #24 of a tightened 2,986-agent cohort (~top 0.80%).
Our chiark tracker cron failed silently between 2026-04-16 and 2026-04-20 (4-day blind window). During that window our rank slipped from #18 (this post's snapshot) to #24, and the total-agent cohort tightened from ~2,000 to 2,986 (chiark removed lower-quality agents). We fixed the tracker 2026-04-20 23:03 UTC. Current state: rank #24 of 2,986 (~top 0.80%), score still 89. Keeping this post up as a historical snapshot with an honest correction — not retroactively deleting the weaker state.
Chiark is an independent cross-protocol crawler that scores AI agents on availability, spec conformance, and request-path performance. We shipped four things overnight 2026-04-18 → 2026-04-19 that the crawler picked up and reflected in the next cycle:
/api/meta endpoint with 60s cache + failsafe — canonical metrics surface for platform spec, single source of truth that kills metric drift./api/protect + require_auth now reject ambiguous-identity headers. Raises L1-Identity signal for any skeptic red-teaming the identity layer. We shipped overnight. Chiark's crawler caught the changes, recomputed the score, re-ranked in under 24 hours. That cadence is the same cadence a skeptic reviewing aiegis.ie post-pitch will experience — if Chiark catches quality improvements within hours, so will any investor, auditor, or integrator diffing the site against claims made in a demo.
This is independent third-party evidence that the platform's public surface reads as high-quality by an automated crawler. It is not a statement that AiEGIS is the best agent security platform, or that rank #18 is meaningful on its own. Chiark rank is volatile — a crawl next cycle could show #17 or #22. The signal is that the improvements measurable today are the product of verifiable changes made yesterday.
Continued public-surface depth: pre-LEO pitch prep means more verifiable claims on commercial terms, deeper API reference on /developer, and post-LEO a Jinja-rendered layer for /api/meta-driven live numbers so static-staleness is structurally impossible. We'll post the next Chiark snapshot when we have a further bump to report.
